Merriest Wishes

Holiday card made for CAS Colours and Sketches 154 Challenge which was to use any sketch from their 2015 Challenges.  I chose #147 for my entry.  First I used a mask over the card base to color and stamp the tree on the left.  Then I masked the first tree with masking paper and scooted the tree over to the right to color and stamp the second tree to make it look as though it was behind the first tree.  Sentiment is Hero Arts and left tree floral is also Hero Arts.  Tree on right was stamped with tiny stamp from My Favorite Things Handlettered Holiday.  Used distress inks in green and red for trees and distress ink applicator. Cards base is Kraft and thin black strips are cardstock also.  Clear tiny sequins are from Pretty Pink Posh.

Also entering this in Simon Says Monday Challenge Just a Pinch (of sequins)

And StampTV weekly challenge to make a quick and easy Thank You note or tag.  The reason this is so quick and easy is I always have some dies already cut out and I also make extra gold embossed pages when I have my supplies out so I'll have some shiny paper when I need it!

Snowy Warm Thoughts

My sweet daughter-in-law sent me videos today of my youngest granddaughter sledding and making snow angels!  Such a sweet treat for grandma to get to see!  Wish we lived closer!

So I decided to make a snowy fun card.  Used Lawn Fawn Party Animals for critter and heart and to cut critter mask for sponging around the little guy.  He is not die cut but stamped and colored on the card base, I used a mask of him to cover him along with a cutout circle to mask the card base so I could ink the night sky and add snow.  Used Memory Box stitched circle dies to cut mask and also to cut gingham from.  Cut snow drifts with Avery Elle stitched borders.  Gingham paper and white cardstock from my stash.  Used distress ink for night sky and strip down the left side.  White paint pen for falling snow.  Greeting is from Paper Smooches.

Joy heart tag

Joy stamp is from Hero Arts, I cut that one word off of a sentiment to stamp on this little heart tag which is from a dog set by Top Dog Dies.  Thin gold twin is tied at the top and little critter from Lawn Fawn Party Animals was colored with Spectrum Noir markers.  Strip and joy were made with Rich Razzleberry ink, and Darice wood embossing folder used for background.  Also used masking paper, Tim Holtz distress inks and applicator.  Entering this in:

Butterfly Love

This is for two challenges at StampTV
1).  Karen Hightower's StampTV Kit Addicts Challenge to make a card like Melanie shows in this video:
2) StampTV weekly challenge hosted this week by Barbara Campbell to use Bling!

I decided to use a StampTV Spring Kit - I think it was my first kit ever from Gina K Designs!  Just about everything used is GKD, even the washi tape.  I also used Wink of Stella and bling pearls from my stash.  I colored with my new Spectrum Noir alcohol markers !  This was quite a trick since my storage trays are not in yet and I have them all thrown in one big container!  Try finding the marker you need when they are all in a big heap!

To participate you have to join StampTV, then the Addicts Group.  It's a lot of fun and everyone is nice and encouraging!

So Beautiful-Henna

Card made with navy blue cardstock that was embossed with an embossing folder called "Henna", then I inked with white ink to show the pattern clearer. Now it doesn't look navy at all.  I fussy cut parts of the embossed piece then glued them to the Kraft cardbase.  Stamped the greeting from Gina K Designs Fight Like a Girl set, rounded the corners and added gems.

I'm thinking a girly card doesn't always have to be pink!
