Colorful Leaves Vellum Birthday Card with Memory Box

Here's a closer look at my card:

I took Distress Oxide inks in bold colors and added them directly to a piece of card stock, then after it dried, I cut leaves out of it and then added them to a piece of vellum.  Next I made a white frame for the edges with 2 of the rectangle dies. After adding it to the vellum leaf panel, I added thin foam strips on the edges to pop it up on the card base.  Lastly I added the ready made sentiment from Memory Box.  Here's one more look at my card:

I recently taught this card technique in my May card class at my local scrapbook store and it was so fun to see how each person's came out different using the same products!  I hope you will give this a try - it's quick and really a lovely look.
