Spellbinders Glimmer of the Month - May 2025

Hello and welcome!  I'm here with the Spellbinders Glimmer of the Month club products for May 2025.

My first card features a few of the pencils, foiled with satin pewter foil, and die cut with the coordinating die on top of an acetate panel I made with Lindy's Magicals.  To do this, you put some glue on the acetate and mist it with water, then spread it around the acetate panel with your finger.  Once dry, you add Lindy's Magicals powders and spray with water.   Move the magicals around by tilting the panel or blowing on them.  Once they dry, add the panel to a white cardstock piece and you get this really cool looking shiny panel with colors bursting all around!

For my 2nd card, I used handmade paper from my art teacher, Cate Robbins.  She has the most beautiful handmade papers and cards and art.  Here's a link to her Etsy shop:  https://www.etsy.com/shop/robbinsart

I tore the paper to the size I wanted and then added it to card base.  I used hot glimmer rainbow foil on another piece with the pencil plate and then added a deckled rectangle in white card on top of just the stripes of the pencils.  Then I added the rectangle to a slightly larger black one and added it to the card.

I had rainbow foiled pencils on white card and cut them out with the die and arranged them on the card front.  Lastly I added 2 sentiments from Everyday Curved Sentiments.  All supplies are linked below.

Here's a close up look at the center stripes on the handmade paper:

For my last card, I used the deckled rectangle on black card and the satin pewter foil on black card for the pencils, then cut them out.  The sentiment was foiled from the same set and added to bottom right corner.

The background is a new BetterPress product coming out on the 10th of this month called Parasols, which I've linked below if you are interested in it.  It's a beautiful BetterPress plate with a lot of gorgeous detail.  I will have more cards to show you on the 10th of this month featuring this plate!
