Spellbinders BetterPress of the Month for April 2025

Hello and welcome, I have 3 cards for you today featuring the new Spellbinders BetterPress of the Month plate called "Postage Edge Expression."  Here's a close up look at my first card.

I used a light gray ink on the plates, both frame and script center, then die cut it with the Deckled Rectangle die set, using a larger one for the outside frame and a smaller one for the script.  I put the larger frame on some blue paper then popped the center rectangle in the center.  The sentiment was from the same BetterPress set and it has coordinating die for all 3 of the sentiments in the set.  I used the die to cut 2 extra sentiment pieces for layering above and below the sentiment to make a shadow for it.  Before popping that up on foam tape I added some gold thin twine for accent and then added the gold pearls for more bling.  Here's one last look:



And now on to card #2.  This one was made with the same gray ink for center section of BetterPress, and a dark pink for the postage frame part of the plate set.

I cut a heart from some watercolored card stock I had in my stash and then added gold twine behind it and popped it up on the script section at an angle.  I popped up the sentiment on the heart and added a few gold peals for extra bling.  Here's a close up:

Now up is my 3rd card:



This one used on the BetterPress system with green and blue inks.  The blue background is left over from the 1st card and I popped that whole panel up on foam tape.  I did the sentiment the same way with a shadow cut from the sentiment die.  Lastly I added 3 gems on each corner to finish my card.
