Blooming Butterflies from Spellbinders

Hello and welcome!  I have a gorgeous card for you today featuring the newest release from Spellbinders!

For my card I used the new Blooming Butterflies 3D and Cut Folder from the Vivd Expressions Collection.  I have affiliate links available, at no extra cost to you, just click on the blue link below.

Here's a closer look:

I used the black out method with the 3D embossing folder, which is to ink the debossed side using ink blending tools, with greens and pinks for the leaves and flowers, then adding dark gray ink all over the panel directly with the ink pad on the paper to help the flowers pop!

Next, I used matching die in this set to cut the edge and butterfly.  Then I added cut out black out panel to bottom left of card and butterfly to top right.  Lastly I added gems on the butterfly body and around the card front.

I really love how this turned out and can't wait to share this technique with the class on January 16th!
