Two Sympathy Cards with New Spellbinders Winter Rose Betterpress Plate and Stencils

Hello and welcome!  I have 2 beautiful sympathy cards made with a rose background called "Winter Rose."

It's actually a BetterPress plate for letterpress - but I have used it 2 different ways.

First card was made with the BetterPress machine on Spellbinders paper and then colored with the coordinating stencils and Distress Inks.  I also used a few colored pencils and a white gel pen.

For my second card I used the plate as an embossing plate on watercolor paper but I inked it with the BetterPress ink before sending it through for embossing.  With the watercolor paper, I was able to get a lovely puffy look to the card front.  I used the stencils to color this one as well in lighter colors.
