Hello and welcome! Today is the day the design team members from Riley and Company participate in the monthly challenge - this month theme is Winter!
Supplies: https://ldli.co/e/om6e60k
For my card I cut the birch tree die, then cut it in half and used one part on the left side and one part on the right side. After cutting it, I added Distress Oxide Ice Spruce lightly over the trees and edges, then added dark brown marker in the indentions of each branch. Next I took an A2 panel (4.25" by 5.5") of white card stock and blended Saltwater Taffy Distress Oxide ink darker in the center and fading out from the center. I took my white gel pen and added lots of white snow dots on the blended ink. Here's a closer look:
I stamped the snowboard, snowsuit top and pants plus a Riley basic dress up and cut them out with the coordinating dies. I colored them with shades of pink and orange using Ohuhu alcohol markers, then added some colored pencils for more depth. I also cut lots of snowflakes from the 3 separate snowflake dies included in the Snowflake Corner die set. After attaching the birch trees on the ink blended panel, I cut a curved piece of white card stock for the snow drift and so I had somewhere to put my sentiment. The sentiment is from the same Winter 2 Dress Up stamp set. Here's another look:
I added the die cut snowflakes all over the background and then using glue, I added all the dress up goodies to Riley. It's so fun, like playing with dress up dolls! Once I was done, he was ready to go snowboarding, so I popped him up on foam tape and then stamped the sentiment in black in at the bottom.
I hope you like my card for today! I have supplies listed below that are affiliate links at no extra cost to you. Thank you for supporting my crafting by clicking and purchasing through them! I appreciate it so much.
