New House Mouse Designs from Spellbinders December Release

Hello and welcome, I have two cards for you today featuring two new House Mouse stamps.

The first card features the new "Candy Hearts" RSC-0022 stamp set, which included the large image and 2 sentiments, I "heart" you, and Happy Valentine's Day. Here's a closer look:



The card was made by stamping and coloring the image and then cutting a Spellbinders deckled rectangle from the panel plus 2 more black deckled panels stacked under the colored image before returning it to the main panel. That's why the coloring extends beyond the black edge. I added that panel to an A2 card base and that was it!

Here's a look at card #2:  

I stamped the image from the new "Knit One" RSC-020 stamp set and colored it with watercolor markers then added some blue sky above and green grass below with Distress Inks and a domed blender.  Here's a closer look:



This set has 3 sentiments.  I cut the "Sending Warm Birthday Wishes" in two piece so I could stamp it in two lines instead of one long line.  It also has "You Warm my Heart" and "All You Knit to Love" sentiments in the set.
