Hello and welcome! Here's some mid-month inspiration for the April Caffeinated Christmas Card Challenge!
Our sponsor is Artful Angel and I hope you will have a chance to enter. All you need to do to enter is create a card with a caffeinated, Christmas, and rainbow theme!
I made my card from 2 dies that I received for free as they were free with purchase quite some time ago. First is the Happy Holidays die which was a collaboration with Spellbinders and Scrapbook.com. The second free die was a tall tea/coffee cup with tiny tea bag die, also a freebie with purchase from Trinity Stamps.
I combined them with rainbow foil from DecoFoil, some preprinted rainbow toner sheets, and toner sheets with double sided adhesive to create my rainbow card.
Here's a look at the work in progress, while I was deciding on the layout.
Here's the layout I decided to go with:
After foiling the rainbows I fussy cut out 5 of them and added them to the left side of the card. Then I made a bigger sheet of just rainbow foiled (on the black toner sheets) so I could die cut the word die and the cup. I also die cut the cup from thick watercolor paper so I could get a little more dimension under the edges of the cup.
Here's one closer look at the rainbow foil:
And here's one look at the foil from a different angle:
I've linked my supplies below, except the two dies that are not longer available.
I hope you like my card for today and will enter this month's challenge for a chance to win the random prize and/or to be selected to guest design with us in the future!
Thanks so much for stopping by!
