Hello and welcome! Today is the new release day for Spellbinders and I'm featuring a wonderful new cutting plate called "Scrolled Punch & Pierce Plate. Here's a real close look:
This plate is very versatile and can be used in so many ways. The outer edges can be punch out or left with all the little piece in tack. Two different center sections cut out and are full of gorgeous piercings.
For my card I took the outer portion and punch out all the openings to reveal that gorgeous pattern and backed it with dark gray card. Next I reinserted the two inner panels with all the piercings.
I didn't want to distract from the gorgeous background so I simply added a Spellbinders die cut floral image from the Spellbinders Santa Lane die cut package, and a heat sentiment from the previously released (January) "Butterfly Kisses." Thatset was a collaboration with Simon Hurley. Lastly I added tiny jewels after popping up both image and sentiment. I added the whole panel to a white card base and I was done! Here's one last look:

ReplyDeleteThat is an elaborate plate and I agree it would have been a shame to cover it up with too much. Lovely card and those flowers are so pretty.
