Hello and welcome! It's the Memory Box Stamptember release day!!! Woohoo!
This year's collaboration stamp/die set is a 6" by 8" set called "Beautiful Moments."
You can also just purchase the stamp set without the dies HERE.
Here's a link to the "Beautiful Moments" set at Simon Says Stamp.
It's a gorgeous set that has pretty floral, leaf and berry images along with some beautiful sentiments.
Here's a closer look at my card:
For both my cards today, I stamped and heat embossed the images in Nuvo Gold Enchantment Glitter Embossing Powder on black card stock and then colored them with colored pencils.
(If you'd like to see how I color on black or dark card stock with colored pencils, at the bottom of my post I have linked a couple of videos I did showing exactly how I color on dark card stock.)
I then fussy cut them out. The sentiment was stamped in Versafine Clair Nocturne ink and heat embossed in clear three times to get nice thick puffy letters. I love the look you get when you do this.
For my backgrounds I used a mini slimline panel 3" by 6" and scored every 1/2 inch with my score board and then ran Altenew Limestone Crisp Dye Ink across the top of the panel. Then for this first card I went back and added more of that ink with an ink dauber on the edges, fading into the center. Next I added the sentiment to the scored panel and then outlined it with two thin strips of black card stock. After that I added the scored panel to a card base sized 3.25" by 6.25".
I added the large image with glue and then tucked in and 1/2 popped up the extra leaves die piece (on the top left side) and popped up the extra berry/leaf die cut piece to the right of the other berries. Lastly I added gold jewels from the Memory Box Christmas Jewels pack to the card front and Glossy Accents to all the berries.
Here's another look at my first card:
And now on to the 2nd card I made with the Memory Box Stamptember set.
As you can see it was made the same way, except I used the other large image from the set. On this one I only inked the score lines and just the very edges of the scored panel.
The score lines are inked by taking the ink pad directly to the paper and lightly swiping it across the raised lines. The darker edges were made with the same ink by using a ink dauber just on the very edges.
The extra leaves and berries I used are on the top left and they are glued down to the panel. The large image is popped up on foam tape. I used Glossy Accents on the berries on this one too, but this time I added red jewels from the same pack to the flower center.
Here's a closer look:
And here's one final look at my 2nd card:
I hope you like my cards for today and I've inspired you to create some fun floral cards for your stash. If you've never stamped and colored on dark card stock, give it a try and you will see it's very easy to color on it.
I have 2 tutorials on how I color on black card stock here if you are interested in seeing it done.
1) VIDEO #11 - Coloring on black card stock that has been stamped in gold ink/gold embossing powder (fast forward to :20 if you want to see just the coloring)
2) VIDEO #1 - coloring on black card stock that has been dry embossed and swiped with Cosmic Shimmer Matte Chalk Polish (fast forward to 1:11 if you just want to watch the coloring)
I had so much fun and want to thank Simon Says Stamp and Memory Box for sharing this beautiful set with me to create with. All of my supplies are linked below if you are interested in any of them. You can find the stamp/die set HERE.
Thanks so much for stopping by and Happy Stamptember!

Oh my dear, these are beyond stunning. Colored pencil on black card stock is always so striking, but fussy cutting and attaching the images to a light background makes them pop even more. I LOVE these, thanks for the inspiration!!
