Under the Sea with Creative Expressions Fish Scales Mini Stencil

Hello and welcome!  I have a fun sea themed card for you today featuring a new mini stencil from Creative Expressions called "Fish Scales."  It's available NOW at Scrapbook.com, on sale for only $2.25!

Here's a closer look:

Here's how I made my card:

1)  I used the new stencil on a small piece of card stock with texture paste and let it dry.

2)  Once dried, I added Salty Ocean Distress Ink with a domed ink blender.

3)  Next I wiped off the excess ink from the texture paste.

4)  From the Woodware Stamps stamp set, I stamped the jellyfish, starfish, waves, rocks, & sentiment and then colored the images with Zig Clean Color Markers.

5)  After adding white gel pen accents, I fussy cut the images out.

6)  I added some elements with glue and popped others up for dimension.

7)  I added bubble stamps in black ink from the "Seas the Day" stamp set

Here's one last look:

I really like how this card turned out by combining several stamp sets with the new stencil.
