Mini Slimline with Say it With Stamps "Hey Cupcake"

Hello and welcome!  I'm so excited to share my first "Say it With Stamps" design team card with you today using just the sweetest set called "Hey Cupcake."

Here's a closer look:

For my mini slimline card I also used some mini slimline dies from PhotoplayPaper "Say it With Stamps."  Here's how I created my card:

1)  First I stamped the images from the set in Versafine Clair Nocturne Ink and heat embossed them with clear embossing powder.

2)  I used the coordinating dies to cut out all the images and then colored them with alcohol markers and added little touches of white gel pen and colored pencils.  

3)  I added Glossy Accents to the hearts, cherry and strawberry and stamped some of the sprinkles on one of the cupcakes in white and red ink.

4)  Next, I took the "#6 Nested Stitched Scalloped Die" set and cut the larger one from kraft card stock and inked the edges with Vintage Photo Distress Ink.  I used the ink pad directly onto the paper.

5)  I cut the white scalloped layer from thick watercolor card stock for some fun texture in the background.

6)  I added the scalloped panels to my 3.5" by 6.25" card base with liquid glue.  The brown layer was directly to the card base, but the white layer was popped up on 5 extra layers of scrap card stock for lots of fun dimension.

7)  I arranged my cupcakes and images on the white panel and left a little room to stamp the sweet "have a sweet day" sentiment in the middle of the card.

8)  Once I finished stamping the sentiment I added all the images with liquid glue.
