Creative Expressions Vintage Rose Die plus "Seas the Day" Stamp Set

Hello and welcome!  I have a fun and lovely mini slimline card made with the newly released Vintage Rose die (released in January) along with a sentiment from a brand new stamp set called "Seas the Day."

Here are the supplies I used:

Gems from stash

To make my card I cut the roses die twice from white card stock and used one as a stencil.  I ink blended through the negative spaces of the die cut on the roses and leaves until I was happy with the look.  Then I took the 2nd white die cut, inked the edges of it in pink, and then added it right on top of the first one to hide my messy ink blending underneath.  This way all that shows through the opening is the flower and the leaf colors.  The whole panel was popped up on foam tape and added to the card base for dimension.

Next I stamped the sentiment and added some gems from my stash.

This was such a fast and easy card and I love the results. I especially love the fonts used on the sentiment from the newly released stamp set.  Here's a look at the new set:
