Two Cards with "Vintage Rose Die" from Creative Expressions

Hello and welcome!  I have two cards for you today with the new "Vintage Rose Die" from Creative Expressions.  I used white, pink, greenish gray and black card stock panels to cut the die from.

Supplies used:

Paper pads:  Pastel Dreams & Fabulous Floral from The Paper Boutique

Sentiments - Woodware One Liners stamp set

Here's another look at my first card:

You can see that I layered, slightly offset the white and black negative space cuts and then backed the whole panel in pink.  The leaves were taken from the grayish cut and added on top of the white/black combination, again slightly offset to give it lots of depth.  Sentiments on both card are from the same "One Liners" stamp set.

And here is the next card made with the remaining greenish gray piece that was die cut.

I simply took the grayish panel and added black behind it, then added a couple of extra pieces of white card stock to elevate the whole panel before adding it to a white card base.  After adding the sentiment, I added a few gems from my stash.  Here's one last look:

I hope you enjoyed both cards today.  This new die is simply gorgeous and cuts like butter!  It fills an A2 card perfectly but also looks stunning on a mini slimline as well.
