Creating Texture on Watercolor Card Stock with Visible Image

Hello and welcome!

I have a fun video for you today showing how I made these two cards with loads of texture!

One card is clean and simple and the other is a slimline.

And on a sad note, I have decided to step down from the design team so today's post and video will be my last one for Visible Image.  I can't possibly thank Helen and Mark enough for allowing me to be a part of the amazing team.  Helen and Mark are two of the most generous, supportive people I know!  I will always be a fan of their amazing stamps and stencils, of them, and of their amazing design team who I loved working with!  It's been a wonderful year designing for VI - I will miss them!

Both cards were made with the following products from Visible Image.

My first card is clean and simple, using only a small portion of the mixed media watercolor panel.

Here's a close up look:

I used Lindy's Magicals, some pastes, and lots of water and splatter.

I also used some background stamps, all shown in the video above.

For my 2nd card, I used a larger part of the panel and made a slimline card.

After I choose which section of the panel I wanted for my slimline, I added butterflies and a sentiment.
