Joy and Cheer Florentina Wreath with Memory Box

Hello and welcome!  I'm up on the Memory Box blog today with this dramatic Christmas card made with newly released Christmas dies and gems.

Here's a closer look at my card: 

And here's how I made it:

1)  Using a finger dauber, ink blend Distress Oxide inks in rainbow order onto white yardstick.

(I used Firebrick Red, Spiced Marmalade, Fossilized Amber Lucky Clover, Prize Ribbon & Seedless Preserves.)

2)  While the ink is still wet, add translucent sparkly embossing powder.

3) Cut both the background "Joy and Cheer" and the "Florentina Wreath" from the rainbow card stock

Here you can see the amazing shine from the embossing on the rainbow inks:

4)  Now cut the "Joy and Cheer" background die twice, and the top thinner die once from white card stock.

5)  Layer and glue the background word die slightly off center, white, white, rainbow, and the add the thin white on top.

6)  With the squares embossing folder, emboss a piece of black card stock 4" by 5.25", and then add the wreath and word die stack.

7)  Adhere black panel to an A2 white card base and finish it with lots of "Autumn Fairy Gems" and "Autumn Fairy Crystals."
