Hope Your Birthday is Out of this World with Creative Expressions

Hello and welcome!

I have a fun card for you today using a brand new slimline die "Out of this World" designed by Sue Wilson for Creative Expressions!  These dies that have just come out are perfect for making mini slimline cards and they make it so easy.  Here's a closer look:

So for this card I cut the die 4 times out of white and glued 3 of them together.  Then I added a piece of acetate to the top one and turned it over.  I added Cosmic Shimmer Pearl Tint in "Enchanted Gold" to the center of the stars.  You don't have to be too careful because you will add another die cut to the top and it will cover any mistakes you might make!

Once the pearl tints dried, I add the background piece and then adhere it to my card base.  The background was made by ink blending dark Distress Oxide inks and then splattering lots of white paint on it.
