Big Hugs with Eucalyptus Background

Hello and welcome!  I have a fun slimline card for you today using dies from Memory Box & Pinkfresh Studio along with patterned paper from Hobby Lobby.

This card was inspired by Pam Sparks card HERE.

I just fell in love with her card and the concept of using the Sweet Bay Collage with this "Eucalyptus" patterned paper from Hobby Lobby.

Here's the supplies I used to make my card:

Supplies used:
1)  Memory Box "Big Hugs Posh Script" die
2)  Memory Box "Stitched Circle Layers" die
3)  Memory Box "Sweet Bay Collage" die
4)  Memory Box "Dragon Fairy Sugar"
5)  2 dies from the Pinkfresh Studio "Diagonal Stitched Slimline Dies" set
6) Wood Grain & Eucalyptus patterned papers from The Paper Studio

Here's a closer look at the center of the slimline card:

I adhered the papers to thicker card stock to give them some stronger backing and then die cut the slimline panels first.  Next I cut a dark teal piece of card stock with the "Sweet Bay Collage" die and then used a circle die to cut the panel to use a smaller portion of the panel.

I next cut a circle from the woodgrain paper to back the teal circle.
I added the circle to the Eucalyptus panel that was attached to the dark teal mat and then cut off the excess of the circle on both sides.  The two top leaves of the die cut separately so I glued them to the top of the leaf sprig and then added the dark teal mat to a gray cardstock mat.

Next I added the whole thing to a white slimline card base and then added the die cut word sentiment.
The back piece of the word die was cut 3 times, once from black and two from dark teal and then layered slightly offset for dimension.  Lastly I added some "Dragonfly Fairy Sugar" to the small vines in the background for some glittery shine.  It's hard to see it in the pictures.

Hope you like my slimline eucalyptus card!

Thanks so much for stopping by!
