Hello and welcome!
I'm so happy to be guest designing for the Coffeeloving Cardmakers Blog today and want to thank Amy for inviting me! I love coffee, plaid and snow, this card combines three of my most favorite things!
I dry embossed the snowflake die from Darice and cut it down by 1/4" on the top and on one side to mat on the wood patterned paper. All the patterned paper is from Echo Park. The coffee cup dies are from Cas-ual Fridays and the word die is from Stamplorations. All were cut mutliple times from black and then from the top layer used - plaid for the cup & words, kraft for the cup sleeve, and white for the cup top.
The edges of the dies were inked with Walnut Stain Distress Ink and all were adhered to the snowflake background. The 2 snowflakes on the sleeve are really old discontinued snowflake dies from Memory Box. All of the snowflakes have been dotted with tiny dots of glitter Nuvo drops for shine.
I hope you like my cozy plaid coffee card for today! Thanks so much for having me as a guest - I've had a lot of fun sharing my creations with you!
I hope you all have a wonderful holiday season!
