Seize the Moment Coffee Card

Hello and welcome!

I have card number 4 for the 2020 Fall Coffee Loving Cardmakers Fall/Winter Hop.

For this card I took a piece of watercolor paper and smooshed Distress Inks & water on it then dried it with my heat tool.  The flower is a digital flower from Stamplorations printed, fussy cut and colored with alcohol markers and colored pencils.

The cup and cup handle inside were cut from plaid patterned paper and pieced on top of the cup.

The watercolor panel was cut with a Tutti Designs dotted rectangle die and matted on black.

I added it to a top folding card base and the added the sentiment, also from Stamplorations digital set linked below.  I reversed the colors on the digital stamp so that the letters would be white on a black background.  I love the look of white heat embossing on black and this is how you can achieve that look (almost) with a digital stamp.  The coffee in the cup is covered in Glossy Accents.  Lastly I added some Antique Bronze metallic marker dots and put clear droplets over the top of the dots to give color to my droplets.
