Two Slimline Fall Cards with Altenew

 

Hello and welcome!

I made two slimline fall cards today using the same stamp sets for both.

Here's a look at my first card:

Supplies used were:

Distress Inks:  Tea Dye, Shabby Shutters, Carved Pumpkin

The Altenew Block Print stamp set comes with 4 different 3 by 4 (slightly smaller) background stamps and I used them twice for my background and put the brown heat embossed sentiment strip banners between both stamped images.  I stamped the "love" directly on the background pattern.

For the leaves on both cards I cut the die from brown, green and then white card stock that I had lightly inked with the same 3 Distress Ink colors.  I used those same colors to randomly stamp both backgrounds on both cards.  

On the first card I layered one inked brand on top of a dark brown one and for the 2nd card, I staggered all three colors of card stock leaves in an array coming from the corner.

The white edge for the background is really the same piece, even though it looks like a white mat, it is not.  The white edged background was added to a card base that had more of the same inks on the outside edges.  After heat embossing the sentiment strips, I cut them into banners and popped them up on foam tape for dimension.  Here's one last look at card number 2.
