Just Us Girls Wild Card Challenge #560

Hello and welcome!  I'm hosting this week's Just Us Girls Wild Week Challenge, that's the challenge we have it there's a 5th Saturday in the month.

Here's the theme I have chosen:

I love to use die cut words on cards and stack them up, sometimes in different colors.
For my card I used a card stock panel that I had made some time ago and decided it was too messy to use.
But after adding the red to it, I discovered I really liked the look of it.  I think the red actually makes the blue ink in the background look okay!

Here's another look:

Isn't it funny that something you thought turned out badly can actually be used by just adding other products to it!  About 2 weeks ago, I had inked the Memory Box Magnificent Poinsettia 3D embossing folder with Speckled Egg Distress Oxide and ran it through my Gemini Junior.  After it came out, I was quite disappointed in my inking job, not disappointed at all with the amazing embossing folder which has so much incredible texture and detail.  So I tossed it in my "box", you know the box of scraps and things you think you might come back to sometime and see if you can salvage them!

So I pulled it out of the "box" and added a the "Special Merry Christmas" word die from Memory Box and a few red Nuvo drops in the center and there you have it.  The word die is cut from 'Twinkling Jewel Glitter Paper" also from Memory Box, and from white and stacked slightly offset.
Here's one last look:

I can't wait to see what you create!  Be sure to stop by the JUGS blog to see what our amazing guest designer, Karen Walker and the whole team have made to inspire you!

Thanks so much for stopping by!
