Fall Grateful Girl with MFT Stamps

 

Hello and welcome!

I have a fall card for you that was inspired by several challenges out in blogland

Here's a closer look at my card:

I cut a circle out of masking paper with a Memory Box die and then used it to ink Antique Linen Distress Ink inside with a dome ink blender.  Next I stamped the girl (from MFT Jumping with Joy stamp set) and colored her with alcohol markers and colored pencils.  I stamped and colored the leaves from the same set and colored them as well.

Then I took the sketch from this week's MFT Sketch Challenge and turned it upside down for my creation.

I added the leaves in the spots where the circles are in the sketch, and I heat embossed the sentiment from the same set on black card stock.  I cut the end at an angle and added it along with a thin piece of striped washi tape at the top.  For embellishments, I took 3 of the markers and made little dots, then added clear droplets on top of the inked dots so that my droplets would match the coloring exactly.

Lastly, I rounded 3 of the 4 corners of the card.
