Happiness is Getting Lost in a Good Book


Hello and welcome!

I have a fun card for a book lover today made with a cute image and sentiment from a Polka Dot Orchard stamp set called "A Good Book."  It just happens to be on sale today for $4.90!!!

Here's a closer look at my card:



I colored the image with alcohol markers and colored pencils and then die cut it with a dotted circle die and added it to a piece of dark red and white striped patterned paper.  I wanted to use lots of colors so decided to use rainbow colors for the puffy "happiness is" letters!



Lastly I adhered the patterned paper to a card base, rounded the bottom right corner, and added a few red Nuvo drops.  Here's one last look:
