You're One in a Melon Clean & Simple Card


Hello and welcome!

I have a very CAS (clean and simple) card for you today made with a couple of challenges in mind.
I used the "One in a Melon" stamp set from Your Next Stamp.

I stamped three of the heart watermelon images with Pinkfresh Studio "Detail Black" ink and watercolored them with Zigs and a water brush, then fussy cut them out for my cards.  The sentiment was stamped with Versafine Clair Nocturne ink and then I added the watermelon slices along with Nuvo Jewel drops around them and on the heart inside the watermelon slice on the bottom.

I had a lot of different layouts for this card with green inked backgrounds, and other die cut shapes partially inked and patterned paper, but in the end, as usual, I went with the clean and simple look.
There is just something about white space that makes me very happy!
