Hello and welcome!
Today starts a brand new Just Us Girls Color Challenge hosted by Cécile and she has chosen:
I think this is a gorgeous color combo and couldn't wait to create with it!
I used gray for my background panel and the turquoise and mustard on this lovely mermaid from Polka Dot Orchard. The mermaid and sentiment are from a digital stamp set called "Under the Sea."
I made a mask for the bottom of the mermaid so I could ink blend Distress Ink water at the bottom and used a Lawn Fawn "Stitched Wave Border" die cut to make a few waves in the water.
The mermaid was colored with Spectrum Noir pastel markers and Prismacolor pencils. The gray and white panel were cut with slimline dies from Pinkfresh Studio and the water droplets creating the splash are from The Stamp Market. I have linked my supplies below if you are interested in them.
Here are a few more views of my card:
Be sure to stop by the JUGS blog and see what our amazing guest Trina Pham and the whole team have created to inspire you! I can't wait to see what you create!
Thank you so much for stopping by!
