Birthday Cards with Polka Dot Orchard's "Birthday Monsters"

Hello and welcome!

I have 2 really fun birthday cards for you today using the brand newly released digital stamp set from Polka Dot Orchard called "Birthday Monsters."

The minute I saw this set I knew I wanted to make some fun birthday cards for family members!

Here's another look at both cards:

The blue stripe card features a monster cake image, the confetti image in the background and a partial sentiment.  The whole sentiment is "Happy Birthday Lil' Monster" but I just wanted to use the top part of the stamp image.  So I duplicated the stamp, then cropped the image just around the "Happy Birthday" and saved the duplicate image so now I have just the top words as one image.

Here's another look at my monster cake card:

For the yellow striped card I used "Life's a Party" sentiment from the same set and the cake slice image.  On both cards I colored them with Zig Clean Color brushes, cut them with dotted rectangle and square dies and popped the white panels up on foam tape.

The gems are from a rainbow sheet of embellishments I picked up at Dollar General.
