Wishing You the Happiest of Birthdays with Graciellie Design

Hello and welcome!

This weekend is a special birthday celebration for Gracie Chavez of Graciellie Design and she has a super special birthday sale, along with a free stamp set gift when you spend $10 or more!

I decided to make a special birthday card for Gracie using one of my favorite all time sets called

Beautiful Birthday Wishes!

I just love this set, here's a look at the set:

It has beautiful images and the sentiments have such pretty font combinations.

For my card I printed the flowers in two different sizes on kraft card stock and colored them with Prismacolor pencils.  In the center I added Nuvo glitter drops in gold.

The background paper is from another Graciellie Design paper pack called 

Summer Sunflowers Digital Paper Pack.

Here's a look at all the papers you get in the pack:

I cut the paper with a rectangle die and then matted it on black card stock.  I added the flowers with glue and foam tape, then added the sentiment from the same stamp set.

If you notice the sentiment is printed in white with a black background.  

I was able to do that by inverting the color on the stamp, the whites to black and the blacks to white.

I used Pages on my Mac and in Preview, I can choose adjust colors and then play with the box at the top by dragging the left and right sliders across until I get it just like I want it.

Just don't forget to add a large black box on your document so that when you import the adjusted picture into your document, since the font will be white, you will be able to see it against the black background on your screen.  Here's one last view:
