Hello and welcome! There's a brand new word week challenge over at Just Us Girls hosted by Nancy and here is the word she has chosen:
Be sure to stop by the the JUGS blog to see what our amazing guest designer: Deborah Frings has made to inspire you along with the rest of the JUGS team too!
As soon as I saw the word I knew I wanted to use one of the free digital stamps offered by My Favorite Things that honors our nurses and doctors fighting the coronavirus.
Here's a closer look at my card:
I used a Tim Holtz stencil called "Rays" and inked it on the card front with Fossilized Amber Distress Oxide ink. The sentiment is from the same free set and it is matted on a black strips. The hearts are from the Simon Says Stamp "Heart Breeze" die cut from dark red card stock. The nurse was colored with alcohol markers.
My supplies are linked below.
Here's one more look at my card:
I can't wait to see what you create!
Thanks so much for stopping by!

ReplyDeleteA lovely, heart-warming card, Angie! I'm especially smitten with the rays; like a halo over the 'angel'! Love this!

ReplyDeleteFabulous design with those awesome rays behind that perfect little nurse! Love this! Nurses are definitely big heroes!
ReplyDeleteThe rays make her shine, Angie, and it's even better than a cape would be.
