Just For You with Pinkfresh Studio

Hello and welcome!

I have a "Just for You" card made with 2 Pinkfresh Studio stamp/die sets, Simon Says Stamp and Archival Inks and Zig Clean Color Markers for the "thumping" technique.

If you look closely at the wreath and any green areas, you can see that it was stamped with a lighter color ink and then there are specks of darker greens scattered throughout.  That's achieved by "thumping" or tapping the watercolor marker on the stamp after stamping the lighter color.  It gives a lot more variety in color and shading and makes it look a little more realistic than just stamping it in one color.  The dark purple ink is Archival Ink in "Majestic Violet."  The bird was colored with Zigs after stamping it with Versafine Clair Nocture ink.  Lastly I added purple dots to the wreath, some white gel pen to the flowers and a few tiny Nuvo glitter drops all around the wreath and leaves.
