Forever in Your Heart with Kraftin' Kimmies "Furry Angels"

Hello and welcome!

I needed a pet sympathy card for a family who recently had to put their sweet pup down so I turned to this lovely set from Kraftin' Kimmies that I won in a giveaway some time ago.

I stamped the dog angel and fussy cut him out and then stamped the wings on vellum to attach to his back to give more dimension.  The wings were made sparkly with Wink of Stella.  I have a messy watercolored background that I splattered with Distress inks and water then framed it and popped it up on foam tape.  The sentiment was heat embossed and I added 3 hearts that coordinated with the colors in the background.  The paw prints stamp as outlines, but I filled them in with black marker.

I attached all of it to a card base that I stenciled with Carabelle Studio's "Flight of Hearts" stencil.

The world is a crazy place right now and my sweet Zoe has brought us a lot of comfort during this time.  I can't imagine what my friends are going through to add the loss of a pet on top of the pandemic scare.  Thank goodness we can show we care and send love and prayers to our friends and family members using great stamp sets like this one from Kraftin Kimmies!
