Faith in God with Floral Flourish 3 from Polka Dot Orchard

Hello and welcome!

I have a fun encouragement card made with digital stamps from Polka Dot Orchard.  I want to thank Jessica Pickeral for allowing me to design for PDO, she has so many amazing digital stamps to choose from in her store.  There's something for every cardmaker's needs and a great 50% sale too!

I especially love this set called "Faith in God" and it's so appropriate for today's situation with the Coronavirus issues we are all facing.  Here's a look at that set:



Here you can see I used the branch image and the bottom sentiment.  Both images and sentiments are perfect for encouragement cards and we could all use that right now, for sure!

I also used this set called "Floral Flourish 3."  I printed it in grayscale on my printer so I could get a lighter look and then inked it with Simon Says Stamp "Surf Blue" ink, then cut it with a die from Wplus9. It actually looks like a blue type suede fabric in real life.
Here's the background set I used, it also has some great sentiments.

I printed the sentiment and image together and then cut them with at an angle with a dotted oval die, then inked the inside edges of the die (with the die still on it.)  I matted the flourish panel on black and then popped the sentiment up on foam tape and finished it with a few Nuvo Jewel drops.

I actually had to heat up my Nuvo drops in the microwave (only a few seconds at a time) to get them to come out in a round shape.  I have found this helps when I try them on a scrap paper and they have tall peaks on the ends, I can usually zap the bottle with the lid off for 4-5 seconds a time until I can get them round!
