I love this technique and use it often so this was really fun for me.
To make it a little more interesting, I decided to use only the flowers from a large cover die by Pinkfresh Studio. After inking a large piece of card stock from dark to light, I used a strip of it for my sentiment from The Stamp Market, and die cut the large die twice from white.
I only used little pieces of the inked card stock to cut out the inlay piece because I wanted to save the rest of the inked piece for another project.

ReplyDeleteWhat a cool idea to use a part of a cover die plate! I love your inked strip and pieces, really beautiful. I can see why you didn't want to waste the whole piece to fill in the flowers, it's gorgeous!
