Hello and welcome!
I have a few "Thank You" cards that were made in no time at all using patterned paper and ephemera from Pinkfresh Studio, and a word die from Simon Says Stamp or a stamped "Thanks" from SSS.
My first card above has one frame and flower cluster from the ephemera pack, and the die is cut and layered, and then cut again through the top of the card. I inset the word die so it's on the inside as you can see in the picture below. This card maybe took 1 min 30 seconds to make!
And here's an even faster one. It has a piece of patterned paper and the Thanks die.
I added a couple of Nuvo drops - so this one took about one minute to make!
And now for the fastest two!
This is just a piece of patterned paper stamped with thanks.
These two cards took under a minute to make!
Wow, those are some fast cards!
I always feel like I'm cheating if I don't spend a lot of time making a card and they usually don't turn out too great either. But with these beautiful papers and ephemera, they are pretty and work great for cards when you are in a hurry! I'd love to know if you have tricks for making really quick cards too, so leave me a comment below if you'd like to share them!
Thanks so much for stopping by!

These are proof that you don't have to spend ages on a card for it to be beautiful Angie. The second card is particularly gorgeous - what amazing paper that is! Vicky x
ReplyDeleteAnd here I was going to ask for the stamp maker on the second card, Angie. You had me fooled. I do love the die cut on the inside. It steps the card up a notch, not that it needed it.
ReplyDeleteYou sure are fast! I could not accomplish those cards under two minutes. Maybe five minutes I might handle. Of course working with pattern paper does make for faster card creation. And these are all beautiful!
ReplyDeleteGreat design. Thanks for sharing with us at The Male Room.

As always great design and great results. Clever you.
ReplyDeleteWow Angie that is some quick card making-but that is the kind I like! I never spend ages making cards....however I so spend ages thinking of a design for one...so my tip would be to just let ideas mull and then make it-5 mins to make as idea there! Plus one layers, just stamping-my fav and cheaper to send! Anyway-Back to your cards-just fabulous-adore the first one, you have also used 'repeat' in layering up the sentiments! Love the dimension and also the pretty colours of the bouquet. Thanks for joining CASology x
ReplyDeleteBeautiful cards and oh so quick, Angie!!! Lovely DP's! I love the die cut word in the card front! I love a surprise inside! Thanks so much for joining us at Watercooler Wednesday Challenge this week!
