Love Wreath

Hello and welcome!

I made card today with a large wreath stamp from Pinkfresh Studio.  I used the thumping method to give the wreath more dimension.  If you are not familiar with that, it's where you stamp the stamp in one color and then take a Memento marker and thump it on the stamp randomly and stamp it again.  I use two different shades of green Memento markets to do my thumping, after initially stamping the wreath in a light green.  Here you can see up close the added colors and the gold paint pen dots I added also.  The gold really does glimmer and shine but it's hard to capture in the photo.

Next I took the love die from Hero Arts and cut it out of the wreath, saved the middle cuts - out of the letters and then layered the top piece on a pice of black card stock.  Then I glued the 3 little pieces inside the "o" and "e" back inside the letters to the black background.  The rest of the sentiment was heat embossed in white on black card stock and cut into a thin banner.   Then I attached the whole finished white panel to a top folding card base.
