Hello and welcome!
It's time for a brand new challenge over at Just Us Girls, hosted by Vicki!
Here's what she has chosen:
I taught school for so many years! Thirty four for public school and five part-time years in private school. This was my very first school year to not prepare for - Yippee!
I loved teaching but I'm so glad to be able to start my 2nd retirement this fall!
Here's a closer look at my card:
Most all of my supplies are no longer available, including the apple die from Your Next Stamp and the wood sticker from The Dollar Tree. The card stock and red plaid paper are from my stash.
I can't wait to see what you create! Check out the challenge details HERE and see the inspiration from our awesome guest, Janet Ribet and the whole team!
Thanks so much for stopping by!
I will enter this in:

So fun with the gingham print
ReplyDeleteGreat card and I love that gingham apple and decor along the side.
ReplyDeleteCongrats on your retirement! Love your card. I 'm retired from teaching too and have back-to-school dreams. LOL
ReplyDeleteAs you know, I was a long-time teacher...and retirement is awesome! Speaking of awesome: your card is exactly that! Love the gingham apple and the encouraging sentiment!

Great take on our 'school' challenge. Love the gingham - so striking. Super card Angie.
ReplyDeleteFabulous school card! I love that plaid paper with that die cut apple and the edge, plus that wood sticker is perfect on this.
ReplyDeleteAn apple for the teacher and one for you, Angie for a job well done.
