Joy Clair Mermaid at Heart, Fall Greetings with Rinea Foil

Hello and welcome!  This month the Joy Clair Stamps and Rinea Foil design teams are collaborating for the month of September and I'm up on the Joy Clair blog with a couple of fun cards.
Here's a look at the first new stamp set I used:

For my first card I used Rinea "Frosted" foil and cut it with the Lawn Fawn Waves border dies then stack them on top of each other.  Next I stamped the sentiment and mermaid tail from Joy Clair's "Mermaid at Heart" in and colored it with Zig Clean Color markers.  Lastly I added Nuvo Jewel drops.

For my second card, I used Joy Clair's new "Fall Greetings" stamp set with "Earthtones" Rinea Foil.
Here's a look at the new stamp set - it's a large stamp set!

I added the foil to the card base with adhesive in two sections, leaving a space for the sentiment.

I stamped the sentiment in the white space and the leaf borders on to separate card stock.  I cut them out, then colored them with Zig Clean Color markers.  One of the coolest features of Joy Clair stamps is that when you purchase a stamp set, you also get (via email) the cutting files that go along with the stamp set.  I adhered the leaf borders to the edge of the foil, and added Nuvo Jewel drops.

I really like the color of this foil - it's such a pretty brown and perfect for fall!  The pattern on it is also very striking and gives your projects a lot of texture.  Here's a closer view:
