Happy Birthday and Hello Feather Cards

   

Hello and welcome!
I have 2 cards for you using different techniques with the same feather die.
First on the left I inked through A Colorful Life's Stretchy Lines Stencil with Versamark ink, then added Perfect pearls in blue and gold.  Next I cut out a feather with Little B "Feather Die" from the pearled paper and from some shiny navy paper that I had saved for my stash.  (I received a gift card wrapped in this cool sparkle navy paper.)  I stacked them slight off from each other and then popped it up with fun foam on a card base that I have die cut "Happy Birthday" with The Stamp Market's "Jumbo Tag" die.  I put the navy paper behind the letters and added the tiny white pieces from the middle of the letters.  Here's a closer look at the shine from the Perfect Pearls:


For my next card, I did basically the thing to make the card, but the top feather was cut from Tim Holtz watercolor paper that I had watercolored with Distress Inks, then stenciled with navy ink and A Colorful Life's "Wispy Vines" stencil.  Here's a closer look at the watercolored and stenciled feather:
