Hello and welcome!
I'm here with my DT card for this week's new challenge - Trend Week!
Nancy is our host and she has chosen BOLD LETTERS!
I actually made two cards, after I cut the first Winnie & Walter "Happy" die from the panel I stenciled. I used the die cut on a 2nd card below. To make my background I used a new to me stencil from A Colorful Life Designs called Flowing Drops. It's such a beautiful stencil and I just fell in love with it!
To give it dimension but keep it one layer, I inked the Bazzill Juneberry card stock and then I moved the stencil down and just slightly to the right and re-inked it lightly with Hero Arts Unicorn Ink.

That little trick makes it look like it has embossing paste but it is completely smooth and flat.
Here's a closer view to see it:

Here's the card I made with the die cut, plus I cut about 4 extra and stacked them for dimension.
Also I used A Colorful Life Designs stencil called Currents with some berry colored ink and stamped the "birthday" from Hero Arts "Happy Stamp & Cut" set.
I can't wait to see what you create! Stop by and see what our fab guest designer, Eva Dobilas and the whole design team have created to inspire you!
Thanks so much for stopping by!

ReplyDeleteWell you had me fooled, Angie. I really thought it was embossing paste until I read your post. And getting a second lovely card was such a bonus.
