Joy Clair Tea Time for the Spring/Summer Coffee Lover's Blog Hop 2019

Welcome!  I'm so glad you stopped by!  I'm here today with this fun card using the "Joy Clair Tea Time" stamp set and the "Joy Clair Life is Sweet" stamp set (for the envelope flap.)

Here's a close up of the images:

I colored the images with alcohol markers, but the cup was paper pieced with some fun patterned paper from my stash.  Here you can see that same paper on the inside flap of the envelope:

And here you can see where I cut out the cup for paper piecing it on the card front:

The cup in the stamp has leaves on it and I wanted this to be more summery and springtime feeling, so that's why I used the paper piecing technique.
