CAS Wonderful Birthday Off the Edge with Hero Arts

Hello and welcome!

I have another birthday card for my stash....seems like I'm always needing them!

I tried a new technique - I used an oval mask opening and laid it on my card front, but stuck the corner out of it so I got a larger area of the "off the top corner".  Then I added the Hero Arts Floral stencil on top and used my ink blending brushes with Distress Inks and Hero Arts inks.  Next I stamped the sentiments from Hero Arts "Wonderful Stamp & Cut" set and added the die from that set too.  I cut an outline for the black die cut in white to give it more substance and then popped it up on foam tape.  I used a very tiny strip of striped paper to anchor the bottom and rounded 2 corners.

Here's a closer view:

Thanks so much for stopping by!
