Joy Clair "It's the Season" Event with "The Reason" stamp set

Hello and welcome!

Today is a special event at Joy Clair - "It's the Season" where the design team will feature the newly released Christmas stamp set available in the Joy Clair store!

I used Joy Clair "The Reason" stamp set for my card today.  Here's a look at the stamp set:

There are some beautiful stamps and sentiments in this set, including two trumpeting angels and Mother Mary, Joseph and baby Jesus.  Such a sweet image to work with.

I started by embossing stars using a Winnie & Walter Classic star stencil, then inking the piece of white card stock in blues, purples and black soot Distress Ink to create a night sky background. 

Then I sprayed and splashed water on the background for a fun look.

I cut a Cheery Lynn Designs inverted scalloped circle from the panel to put my sentiment inside of the card!  I stamped and colored the images with Copics, then cut them out and mounted them on the background panel with foam tape.

Next I added the night background to a white card base and stamped my sentiment inside the circle.

Lastly I added Nuvo Glitter drops to help give some twinkle to the background!
