Addicted to Stamps Anything Goes Challenge #306- Hello Missing You

Hello and welcome!

I'm here today with a colorful card for the new Addicted to Stamps and More Anything Goes Challenge!  I hope you stop by the blog and see all the wonderful DT inspiration!

For my card I use techniques I learned from an Altenew card class for making one layer cards.  It was taught for the amazing Kelly Latevola!  I masked off the center strip with post-it tape then stamped lots of flowers from the Gillian Vance "Tea Time" stamp set.  Next I stamped the "missing you" from Simon Says Stamp's "Handwritten Greetings" stamp set in orange Distress Ink, and stamped a 2nd one so I could mask it off.  (I learned this technique from a class taught by Kelly Latevola.)  After masking off the "missing you", I stamped the "Hello" from Avery Elle's "Canopy" stamp set.  Next I colored all the flowers with Neon colors of Zig Clean Color markers.  I used some gray markers and marked off the white strip and then added lots of sequins from Studio Katia.

Here's a few more views:

The sequins really shine and it's hard to catch that in the picture, but you can see it a little better in the picture below:

Thanks so much for stopping by!

  10. I can't believe that this is a one-layer card - you did such an amazing job of creating "dimension" with your sentiment strip that I would swear it was an added card stock strip! The bright colours you chose for the flowers are so fun and pretty - thanks so much for playing along with us at Time Out! Jill
