Trees from Impression Obsession - Two Cards

Hello and welcome!

I had a little time today to make a couple of cards for the Twofer Tree Challenge.
I used some of the very first dies I'd ever purchased when I started paper crafting!

The Impression Obsession Christmas Tree Cutout dies.  I owned about 3 or 4 dies and 5 or 6 embossing folders when I bought these and I couldn't figure out how to use them!  That seems like such a long time ago!  I used these dies to made two completely different cards for the Twofer Challenge.

My first card above is a Christmas card - the first one I've made all year!  I better get busy!
For that card I also used the Simon Says Stamp Joy die and plaid paper from Echo Park "I Love Christmas" paper pack, and a MFT stitched rectangle die.  I also used red, black and white card stock.

Now for my second card I used the new Joy Clair Inspirational Arrows stamp set to fill 3 trees in the colors from the Color Throwdown Challenge, coral, aqua, yellow and green.  I also used paper from a Reverse Confetti paper pack, a black marker, and a scalloped stitched rectangle from Wplus9.

And here's a picture of the two cards side by side:

Thanks so much for stopping by!

Your second creation is so creative! I love how you used the arrows to make your graphic design!! Thank you so much for playing in Twofer Card Challenge #6! (You should enter your arrow card in AAA Cards Geometrics challenge!) Hugs, Darnell

  10. This is a great take on the tree challenge. I love the plaid card and the design. You wowed me with the arrow card. Very cool. I had to laugh at your beginning. I was the same way, had things and didn't know what to do with them. I kept my supplies in a shoebox! Boy how things have changed.
