Hello and welcome! It's NEW RELEASE day at Joy Clair! Yippee!
There are 13 new sets - a big release with sets in both the Color By Faith Collection and the Everyday Collection. I'm here today to introduce a brand new stamp set from the Joy Clair new release blog hop!
It's Joy Clair's "Fishers of Men", from the Color By Faith Collection.
Here's a look at the new set:
And here's my first project with the new set!
Here's how I created this page:
1) I put gesso on my page and let it dry completely, then masked of the margin.
2) I stamped a few fish, colored them and fussy cut them out, to help me plan the layout, then I laid out the stamps on the page where I wanted them.

3) After stamping the hooks, sentiment and fish, I scribbled on some Distress Crayons and spread the color with a baby wipe - then let it completely dry.
4) I colored the fish with Zig Clean Color Markers then removed the mask.
4) I colored the fish with Zig Clean Color Markers then removed the mask.
5) After highlighting the Bible verse, I took a black marker and darkened a few areas of the stamping, then added the net stamp in light gray ink right over the blue.
6) Lastly I added striped washi tape to the page edge and I was done!
Here's another view of my completed Bible Journaling entry!
I also made a quick card with JC Fisher of Men while I had all my supplies out.
I inked the bottom background with Distress Ink, then stamped the hooks, sentiment, and fish. I trimmed down the top panel and added striped washi tape down both sides.
Quick and easy!
