I used a set of stamps from American Crafts that I picked up at Tuesday Morning-they don't have a name on them other than Dear Lizzy. I stamped the watermelon, cherries, strawberry, and sentiment from the set in different color inks, then added color on them with Spectrum Noir markers and gel pens. I masked off the fruit then added the turquoise ink with a Tim Holtz stripes stencil. I added a lot of Nuvo Jewel drops, in strawberry and also a light blue (sea breeze) and a light green (key lime) combo to make them look turquoise.
This is awesome! What a beautiful way to showcase those fruit images with that stenciled design and adding the Nuvos really made this a fantastic look!
ReplyDeleteI love this pretty card in my favorite colors. Your shading with the markers and gel pens is gorgeous. I just bought a bunch of Nuvo Jewel drops and now I can't wait to use them.
