Our guest designer this month is Linda Snodgrass! Be sure to stop by her awesome blog to check out her creations!
Here are the details on how I made my card:
I used a panel of white card stock and first blended lots of different colors of Distress Inks in blues and greens for the water. I used Hero Arts Color Layering Flamingo to stamp all the elements, both flamingos were cut with the matching die and one was popped up on foam. I used lots of Hero Arts inks to stamp the layers, then added Spectrum Noir sparkle pen to the darkest parts of the flamingos. If you scroll down, you can see the sparkle better in the picture collage below. I cut the sun from MFT Sun Moon and Stars die set, then added the sentiment and used another MFT edge die for the right side of the card. This card is a CASE of a card I made last summer - it had slightly different colors, a different sentiment and didn't have the scalloped edge like this one. I attached the top panel to the Gina K Designs card base and there you have it! My take on the challenge photo!
Be sure to check out all the DT cards HERE, and hope you can join us this week!
