Mod Squad Challenge - Halloween - Come Join the Fun!

I'm over at the Mod Squad Challenge today hosting with Peggy for our new challenge - Halloween!
Here's the link to come join our challenge!

There are two great prizes, so enter your Halloween cards for a chance to win!

My card was made with Lawn Fawn's Plaid Paper Fall pack,  Gina Marie Designs Nesting Wonky Rectangle dies, and Newton's Nook Happy Thoughts stamps set.

I don't have a lot of pumpkin stamps, so I tried to use what I had to create and the pumpkin for this card.  It was actually made with a circular wreath stamp from Newton's Nook Happy Thoughts stamps set.

I flattened the circle shape out a little before stamping it, then added pumpkin features with a black marker and added the stem to the top.

I'll be adding this card to the Inky Paws Challenge - #37 Cozy Plaids

Believe

Another card made with Wplus9 "Doodle Buds" stamps and dies, Hero Arts Black Ink and clear embossing powder, Zig Clean Color Markers, a water brush, pop dots, Gina K Designs kraft and white card stock, and Reverse Confetti "Walk by Faith" sentiment.  Thanks so much for stopping by!

I plan to enter this in the following challenges:

Survivor

I made this card for a friend.  She is probably one of the most inspiring people I have ever met.  So positive and full of energy and has such happy vibes, that just being around her makes you smile. And she has had so many big blows, including cancer and going through chemo.  Through it all she has been so strong and positive - an inspiration to everyone who meets her.  I feel honored to be her friend - she IS the essence of this card - represented by beautiful flowers and the survivor sentiment from a Verve stamp set called "Just Breathe".

Supplies used were:  Wplus9 "Doodle Buds" stamps and dies set, Hero Arts black ink and clear embossing powder, Zig Clean Color Markers, Wink of Stella, a water brush, pop dots, card stock from Gina K. Designs and Kat Scrappiness Sparkling Clear Droplets.  The black dots are a strip of washi tape placed on the inside of the card.
Thanks so much for stopping by!

Purple and Green Hugs

My last card for today....I used the Hero Arts Bold Floral Stencil with Reverse Confetti inks and clarity brushes to make the background, then die cut the wreath with a Confetti cut wreath die from the top of the card and from green card stock.  I mounted the wreath around the opening so there is actually a hole in the top of the card and the sentiment is stamped inside the card.  The sentiment is from Simon Says Stamp Big Scripty Greetings.  The twine is from my stash.

The top picture is the card standing up and the bottom picture is the card laying down flat.

I will be entering this in the Cards in Envy Purple and Green Challenge.

Here's another picture of the retreat....

Christmas Dog

Just got back from a really fun Reverse Confetti card retreat at Whitworth Ranch!  I met so many wonderful ladies and Jen's classes and projects we made were amazing!  In our spare time we crafted away too, so I will be sharing some of the cards I made while I was there.....

This card was made with  the Hero Arts Forest Scene SA078 stencil and  Hero Arts DC195 Christmas Trimmings stamp and die set.  Other supplies used were:  Clarity Stencil brushes, green ink, Nuvo glitter drops, Shimmer Spray, Tim Holtz Crazy dogs, Spectrum Noir markers, Wink of Stella, and a large stitched rectangle die.

I am so happy I was able to go and meet these wonderful people and spend the weekend crafting with all of them!  Looking forward to next year!!!

Will enter this in The Challenge #83 Christmas Inspiration Challenge.

Pumpkin Spice

Another card made on the retreat!  I actually messed this one up by stamping the pumpkin and sentiment (from SSS Stamptember's Neat and Tangled Nuts about You set) in the center and realizing that the Reverse Confetti wreath die was going to cover part of the stamped image.  So I die cut the stamped image on the front of the card with a Memory Box stitched circle die and adhered it to the inside of the card through cut opening in the front of the card.  I colored the wreath with Spectrum Noir markers in an ombre fashion and put it on the edges of the cut opening on the card front.  I then brushed some orange Distress Ink over the die onto the die cut.  Lastly I cut strips of black card stock and patterned paper from a Reverse Confetti fall paper pack cut with RC scalloped die and adhered different papers to the inside of the card and two black strips to the outside front of the card.

I will be entering this in the Just Us Girls Photo Inspiration Challenge #366 and the Tuesday Throwdown Pumpkin ChallengeCrafting By Designs Challenge for HalloweenScrapyland Challenge #52,

Force to Be Reckoned With

This card was inspired by several challenges:  Kat Scrappiness and Newton's Nook Breast Cancer Awareness Card ChallengeCas-ual Fridays 1 in 8 Challenge #158, the Allsorts Pink Challenge #385, and the Color Dare Challenge #215.  Supplies used were Tim Holtz watercolor paper, Verve stamp set called "Just Breathe", Hero Arts clear embossing powder,  Gina Marie Wonky Rectangle die, Zig Clean Color Markers, water brush, black Enamel Dots, black and white twine, and sparkly pink embellishment dots from my stash.

On Fire

Still playing with my MFT Magical Dragons....they are so cute!  And the Waffle Flower "Leafy" set.  Some images were heat embossed and others were not....all were colored with Zig Clean Color Markers and a gold Wink of Stella pen and clear Wink of Stella pen.  Some were die cut and added, others stamped directly on the card front panel.  Gold glitter paper is from The Paper Studio, cut with a MFT stitched rectangle die into a frame around the main panel.    Googly eyes are from my stash.
