Moonlit Flamingo


My last card for today...inspired by the challenges over at Just Us Girls Trend Wee #352 (sponging) and Cupcake Inspirations color challenge #366 and The Heart Desires Challenge #2 Tropical

I sponged the background very lightly with pool colored ink, stamped the water and greenery in pool and green.  I used Hero Arts Color Layering Flamingo stamps and frame cut set with shades of pink and black ink from Versafine.  I added Wink of Stella to the pink moon and darkest part of the flamingo, added a gem from Hero Arts for his eye, and used an alcohol marker to make the black eye dot.  I cut another flamingo from fun foam and popped the stamped one on top for dimension, added him to the card along with a few water droplets.  The card base is pool color with pink dotted washi tape on the left side (and on the inside, see picture below) and the right side has it's corners rounded.
